Victor Osimhen’s transfer saga was one of the big stories last summer, with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain reportedly vying for the Nigerian striker’s signature.

Now, after rediscovering the form that made him a standout in the 2022-23 season at Galatasaray, he’s attracting even more attention from top European clubs next year.

After a failed move away from Napoli, the 25-year-old joined Galatasaray on loan, where he has been in excellent form, scoring 12 goals and providing five assists in just 15 appearances this season.

Tuttomercatoweb reports that Osimhen’s release clause is around €80 million in January, potentially dropping to €70 million next summer. RMC Sport has also reported that PSG have reached out to the striker, who is aware of their interest but feels settled in Turkey, where he has been warmly received.

According to CaughtOffside, Arsenal and Chelsea are also exploring forward options, with Osimhen and Juventus striker Dušan Vlahović among their targets.

TBR Football reported on Tuesday, citing sources, that Arsenal and Aston Villa have also shown interest in the player. Villa, in particular, have been informed that Napoli would be open to including Jhon Durán in a deal for the striker.

Chelsea have been long-time admirers of Osimhen and spoke with his representatives over the summer. While the Blues are still keeping an eye on the situation, the rise in the form of Nicolas Jackson has made signing a striker less of an immediate priority for the West London club.

Furthermore, TBR Football also reported that Manchester United have been approached by intermediaries with the opportunity to sign Osimhen. However, the English club are not in a position to make a straight £60 million deal.
