Raphinha and Lamine Yamal have become key cogs in attack for FC Barcelona this season and have struck up a fine partnership, along with Robert Lewandowski, scoring goals for fun.

Both the Barça wingers have shown great signs of understanding on the pitch while the Brazilian international has never been shy of praising his younger teammate.

Raphinha’s special gesture for Raphinha

Now, Mundo Deportivo has revealed that Raphinha gifted Lamine Yamal a gold-plated iPhone, valued at around €10,000, for winning the Kopa Trophy.

Yamal, 17, became the youngest footballer ever to win the Kopa Trophy when he lifted the award at the Ballon d’Or ceremony last month.

The La Masia wonderkid also became the youngest player to finish in the Top 10 of the 2024 Ballon d’Or rankings.

Following his achievement, Yamal received a gold-plated iPhone as a gift from Raphinha, who is one of the captains of Barcelona this season.

The iPhone which the youngster received is the latest generation and has the player’s name (Lamine Yamal) and his squad number (19) engraved on it, along with the Barcelona crest.

In addition to presenting this spectacular gift to Lamine, Raphinha had ‘IDesignGold’ company manufacture a similar gold-plated iPhone for himself as well.

The Brazilian winger’s phone is slightly different from Lamine’s as it has the letters ‘R’ and ‘B’ engraved in reference to his name (Raphael Dias Belloli), all accompanied by a crown.
