FC Barcelona will be travelling to Asia for their pre-season tour in the summer before the 2025/26 campaign kicks off.
As has already been officially confirmed, the Blaugrana will be playing a game in Japan, facing Andres Iniesta’s former club Vissel Kobe.
The Catalans will also be involved in two friendly matches in South Korea, although the dates and the opponents for the same are yet to be confirmed.
Now, according to SPORT, Barcelona are also exploring the possibility of adding a fourth friendly to their summer schedule, with the venue likely to be either in Europe or Morocco.
As per club sources, Barcelona expect to earn a minimum of €20 million from the summer tour of Asia, where they will play three friendlies.
€15 million of that would be guaranteed income, with the remaining €5 million depending on variable factors. The club believes that, depending on commercial agreements and sponsorship deals, the total could rise to €25 million.

Now, on top of that, another friendly could be scheduled either in Morocco or somewhere in Europe, which would guarantee more income for the Catalans.
This revenue will help offset the club’s absence from the Club World Cup, where substantial prize money will be distributed among participating teams.
Meanwhile, the report states that Barcelona president Joan Laporta has confirmed that the club have ruled out the option of travelling to Indonesia for a post-season friendly.
The decision is linked to the team’s success in reaching the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.
As the club had only budgeted for a quarter-final appearance, the additional revenue generated by going further meant that a long-haul trip to Indonesia was deemed no longer necessary.
