Sections of the Barcelona fanbase made use of the opportunity to poke fun at Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr. on Tuesday evening.

Barcelona, of course, are primed to return to action in short order.

Turning attentions back towards matters on the continent, the Blaugrana will play host to Benfica, in the 2nd leg of the Champions League Last-16 tie between the clubs.

Ahead of kick-off in Catalunya’s capital, the home crowd, in turn, have long been gathering in their numbers on the streets around Montjuïc.

And as alluded to above, in the midst of as much, some have taken advantage of the chance to have some fun at the expense of a leading member of the attacking ranks at arch rivals Real Madrid.

In a fresh dig at Vinícius Jr. regarding the Brazilian missing out on the most recent Ballon d’Or, crowds of Barca fans were this evening heard chanting:

“Vinícius, balón de playa (beach ball)”
