Barcelona star refuses to celebrate after scoring vs Real Betis | OneFootball

Barcelona star Gavi opted against celebrating, after finding the net against Real Betis this evening.

Barcelona are of course currently locked in action, on the domestic front.

Fresh off securing their first silverware of the campaign in the Spanish Super Cup last weekend, the Blaugrana have turned attentions towards matters in the Copa del Rey.

In a meeting with the aforementioned Real Betis with a place in the competition’s quarter-finals on the line, Hansi Flick’s troops find themselves in possession of a one-goal advantage.

This comes after midfielder Gavi found the net for the 2nd time in his last three appearances.

Slipped into the penalty area by compatriot Dani Olmo, the youngster made no mistake with an unerring strike into the bottom corner inside three minutes.

As alluded to above, though, Gavi opted against celebrating as much.

This comes with the 20-year-old having spent some of the early years of his career developing on the books of Real Betis, eager to show respect to his former employers.
