Bayern trio miss training ahead of Frankfurt clash | OneFootball

There were three notable absentees when Bayern Munich began training on Friday ahead of their clash with Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday.

According to Munich-based publication TZ, Harry Kane, Joshua Kimmich and Josip Stanisic were all absent.

Kane's absence wasn't entirely surprising, as Bayern confirmed on Wednesday that the forward would be taking a break from training after being forced off with a hematoma in Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Celtic.

But why Kimmich and Stanisic were missing remains unclear at this stage.

Bayern coach Vincent Kompany could provide some answers at his pre-match press conference on Saturday at 10:00 CET.
