Barcelona have a four-goal lead over Borussia Dortmund heading into the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals at Signal Iduna Park tomorrow and many have written off the game as one that has been decided.

The Catalans, however, will not look to slacken off and will go out all guns blazing against the German outfit, looking to score a few early goals and put the tie to bed beyond doubt.

For Dortmund, meanwhile, the only way they can proceed is by maintaining a clean sheet and scoring at least five goals on the night. Four goals for them would prompt extra-time but still not seal the tie.

Dortmund midfielder talks

Speaking to the media ahead of the second leg of the quarterfinal against Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha commented on how it would not be easy whilst not impossible.

“We have to play a perfect game. We know it won’t be easy, but let’s not lose faith. We must be confident that we can achieve it,” he began, outlining his team’s chances.

Elaborating on what the competition, the opponents and tomorrow’s game meant to him as a player, Nmecha said,

“As a player, you always want to play in the Champions League. We enjoyed it, and in the league, we still have chances to be in this competition next season.”

“Football is played for games like tomorrow,” he added on the game against Barcelona.

Finally, the player revealed the factor which motivated the dressing room heavily ahead of the impending European clash to be a visit from some of the team’s most important players who are currently sidelined.

“We saw Nico (Schlotterbeck) for a few minutes today during training and we know that he will always be with us.”

“He pushes us and we feel his support and, of course, that of Marcel Sabitzer,” he added.
