Brest take on Ligue 1 rivals PSG in the Champions League play-off round first leg at Guingamp’s Stade du Roudourou tonight at 6:45 pm CET. This is the first all-Ligue 1 encounter in the knock-out phase of Europe’s premier club competition since the 2010 quarter-finals between Bordeaux and Lyon.

Given the gap in experience and game-winning talent on the pitch between Brest and PSG, Luis Enrique’s Les Parisiens are overwhelming favorites against Eric Roy’s plucky Ty-Zefs. But the Bretons have so far shown in the Champions League that they can punch way above their weight. Fortunately for Brest, some of their key players are back from injury after missing out on their final Champions League tie against Real Madrid (0-3).

L’Equipe understands that Roy will rely on his most-trusted back four with left-back Massadio Haïdara and centre-back Soumaïla Coulibaly back in the fold. GFFN100 winner Pierre Lees-Melou will be a welcome addition in midfield alongside Mahdi Camara and Hugo Magnetti. Up front, Brighton and Hove Albion loanee Abdallah Sima is expected to get the nod to start with in-form centre-forward Ludovic Ajorque.
