With Matchday 26 of the 2024/25 Bundesliga season in the books, we have picked our Team of the Week, this time lining up in a 4-1-4-1 formation.

Goalkeeper

Peter Gulacsi, RB Leipzig

The Hungarian goalkeeper played a crucial role in Leipzig's win and clean sheet against Borussia Dortmund, making nine saves in total.

Defenders

Rasmus Kristensen, Eintracht Frankfurt

Kristensen opened the scoring in Eintracht's 3-1 win over Bochum. He also won seven challenges and completed three dribbles.

Cedric Zesiger, Augsburg

Zesiger had a great game against his parent club as Augsburg beat Wolfsburg 1-0. He provided an excellent assist for the winner and was rock solid throughout.

Patrick Mainka, Heidenheim

The Heidenheim captain won 10 duels, made four interceptions and blocked three shots to help his side to three vital points against Kiel.

The Frenchman assisted both of Mainz's goals in their 2-2 draw with Freiburg.

Frank Onyeka, Augsburg

A commanding presence in central midfield, Onyeka completed 87 percent of his passes, completed all four of his attempted dribbles and won 11 contests for possession.

Jeremie Frimpong, Bayer Leverkusen

Didn't succeed in everything he tried, but the Dutchman played a key role in Leverkusen's comeback win over Stuttgart, scoring a goal and providing an assist.

Xavi Simons, RB Leipzig

Scored a goal and provided an assist as Leipzig took three vital points against Borussia Dortmund.

Alassane Plea, Gladbach

Plea played a part in all four of Gladbach's goals against Werder Bremen, scoring a hat-trick before setting up another.

Jean-Matteo Bahoya, Eintracht Frankfurt

With a speed of 37.16 km/h, Bahoya broke the Bundesliga speed record and scored his first German top-flight goal against Bochum.

Strikers

Budu Zivzivadze, Heidenheim

Zivzivadze scored a goal and added an assist as Heidenheim defeated Kiel 3-1.
