For most football fans, it’s one team and done, you don’t change who you support willy-nilly. However, Fabio Capello has admitted his AC Milan allegiances were not original.

There are very few people who agree with the idea of changing the team you support, especially when it involves going from one rival to another, and Juventus to Milan is one of those unfathomable switches.

Two of Italy’s biggest teams in every sense of the word, competitively, history-wise and fanbase size, few get close to the two teams, and this even stretches to the outside of the peninsula.

However, it has definitely been done before, and Capello admitted that he was one of the few to do so when speaking to La Stampa, via Milan Press, earlier today.

“When I was very young I supported Juve, then since I owe everything to Berlusconi, who discovered me while I was working behind a desk, obviously for Milan. My trophies? They’re in a trunk. It must be history and it must be others who remember.

“Instead, I think about the faults I’ve done and would like to change. Successes pass, I prefer to look at the next day. I never do the accounts, I remember the ones I lost the most.”

Considering what he achieved with the Rossoneri, no one will bat an eyelid on the legend’s choices, because now, he is supporting the right club in the eyes of the Milanisti.
