As reported by Sport Bild (via Bulinews), Liverpool manager Arne Slot and Jeremie Frimpong are in “regular contact”. He is contracted to Bayer Leverkusen until 2028, but it is believed that the Dutch full-back has a release clause of €40 million in his contract.

To be very honest, he has been at Bayer Leverkusen longer than most would have anticipated. Clubs like Liverpool, Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid and more have been linked with Frimpong for quite some time now.

Of course, a big-money move would be great news for Celtic. That is because it is believed that they hold a significant sell-on clause when it comes to Frimpong. So, the Hoops could be in line for a cash windfall this summer.
