Celtic have been made a take-it-or-leave-it offer for striker Daniel Cummings by West Ham United, according to Sky Sports News.
Cummings has been hugely prolific for Celtic’s B side and recently played for the senior team in the Champions League against Aston Villa.
Celtic are desperate not to lose him, but Cummings has already agreed he will sign a pre-contractual agreement with West Ham, who have been trying to agree a fee with the Bhoys to sign him now.
West Ham have just seen a £500,000 offer for Cummings turned down, but they have gone back with another bid.
That will be the final proposal from the Hammers though.
If Celtic do not accept the bid then West Ham are prepared to finalise their pre-contractual agreement with him and land him in the summer.
With Cummings having agreed terms with the Hammers, the Premier League side are confident they will get him.
Whether Celtic can sway him back towards a stay in Glasgow at such a late stage remains to be seen.
