Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini will have limited options in both attack and defence for his side’s first leg of their knockout phase play-off at Club Brugge.

It kicks off at 18:45 CET (17:45 GMT) at the Jan Breydel Stadium in Bruges.

With Ademola Lookman and new signing Daniel Maldini ruled out with injury, the Nerazzurri boss will rely on Charles De Ketelaere and top goalscorer Mateo Retegui, with Mario Pasalic likely to play behind the attacking duo.

Defenders Sead Kolasinac, Odilon Kossounou and Giorgio Scalvini are also all sidelined due to physical problems, meaning Gasperini will be forced to field Isak Hien, Berat Djimsiti and Stefan Posch in the back-three.

After an emphatic 5-0 win at Verona in Serie A last weekend, La Dea hope to confirm their scoring prowess in Belgium, gaining an edge before the return leg at home to secure a place in the last-16, where they will face either Aston Villa or Lille.
