Paris Saint-Germain considered re-signing Christopher Nkunku during the winter transfer window but ultimately decided against submitting a formal offer. The French forward remained with Chelsea, though talk of a possible summer exit continues to swirl.
Nkunku joined Chelsea from RB Leipzig in 2023 for £52 million, but a mix of injuries and strong competition has limited his chances to nail down a regular starting role. His long-term future at Stamford Bridge remains up in the air.
Journalist Ben Jacobs previously reported that PSG explored a potential deal before pulling back. Bayern Munich also passed on making a move in January, but according to Sport Bild’s Christian Falk, the German giants could return to the table later this year.

Football Insider reported Tuesday, citing sources, that Chelsea believe they can recover the money they spent on Nkunku if he leaves the club this summer. The 27-year-old is said to be unhappy at Stamford Bridge and open to a move once the transfer window opens next month.
TBR Football’s chief correspondent, Graeme Bailey, recently reported the latest on Nkunku’s future. Bailey noted that the player’s representatives are actively exploring a possible move. Bailey expressed that the Frenchman’s camp offers the player to other Premier League sides.
“As it stands I am told that a move to Europe is the most likely option – but his people are touching base with clubs in England,” Bailey said.
“Arsenal, Liverpool, Man United, Newcastle, Aston Villa and Tottenham have all been spoken to in the past few months. Chelsea want to recoup as much of their plus £50m outlay, but that looks difficult at this juncture.”
