Here's how the action unfolded...

Arsenal edge United in race for second

Scorers: Kelly 2' Caldentey 50', Maanum 55', Little 62'; Toone 13', Terland 71', Le Tissier 76'

Arsenal raced into an early lead when Phallon Tullis-Joyce spilled a routine cross into the box to Chloe Kelly, who fired into the net.

The visitors' lead didn't last long as Ella Toone converted from Maya Le Tissier's knockdown header.

United almost took the lead before the break as Celine Bizet's mis-hit cross looped over Manuela Zinsberger and crashed off the crossbar.

Arsenal won a penalty minutes into the second half after Grace Clinton tripped Caitlin Foord and Mariona Caldentey converted the resulting spot-kick into the bottom corner.

Frida Maanum then struck Arsenal's third, latching onto Katie McCabe's through ball and lashing past Tullis-Joyce and Kim Little struck with a stinging low strike into the net

United almost completed a late comeback when Elisabeth Terland lashed in from 20 yards and Le Tissier fired in from the spot following McCabe's foul on Bizet.

Chelsea unbeaten after late strike

Scorers: Beever-Jones 91

Chelsea couldn't find a way to break down a rock-solid Liverpool backline in the first half and Wieke Kaptein's audacious back-heel that went just wide was the champions' best opportunity.

The Blues continued to create opportunities as Sandy Baltimore's fierce strike from 20 yards almost found the bottom corner before Aggie Beever-Jones' header was cleared off the line by Taylor Hinds.

Aggie Beever-Jones eventually found the winner in the final minutes with a powerful attempt to beat Rachel Laws.

City bounce back to down Palace

Scorers: Kerolin 17', 86, Roord 63', Knaak 67, 95'; Weerden 4', Gejl 40'

Determined to shake off their relegation and end the season on a high, Palace stunned City with an early goal as Ashleigh Weerden curled in after four minutes.

City pulled level when Kerolin raced past Allyson Swaby and struck beyond Shae Yanez into the top corner.

Mille Gejl restored the Eagles' lead moments before the interval by applying a curling finish from 18 yards to cap a rapid Palace counter-attack.

City scored two goals in quick succession after Jill Roord drilled in from Shea Yanez's parried save and Rebecca Knaak notched a third with a towering header.

The home side added a decisive fourth late on after Aoba Fujino's through ball found Kerolin and the strike finished low past Yanez.

Knaak completed the rout in second half injury time with another powerful header.

Villa cruise to victory over Brighton

Scorers: Salmon 5', Daly 44', Pacheco 74'; Parris 94'

Ebony Salmon put the hosts ahead inside the opening 10 minutes, racing past the Brighton backline and shooting past Sophie Baggaley

Villa struck again moments before half time, with Chasity Grant's cut-back finding Rachel Daly, who finished low into the bottom corner.

Maz Pacheco wrapped up all three points on her final appearances for Villa, with a thumping finish past Baggaley.

There was some consolation for Brighton when Nikita Parris pulled a late goal back in the final minute.

Spence earns Spurs a point

Scorers: Sarri 11'; Spence 30'

Veatriki Sarri put Everton ahead with a well-taken, powerful free-kick from 20 yards, which evaded the wall and beat the full-stretch Lize Kop.

Tottenham then levelled just after the half-hour mark through Drew Spence's close-range finish inside the six-yard box.

The first half strikes proved to be the pick of the action as Everton finished comfortably in mid-table, as Spurs avoided relegation in 11th place.

Foxes see off spirited Hammers

Scorers: Cayman 9', Cain 35', 59', Tierney 69'; Asseyi 56', 63'

Janice Cayman opened the scoring for Leicester in sensational fashion, racing onto a loose ball on the edge of the box and firing into the top corner.

Leicester extended their advantage following a dominant first half after Hannah Cain reacted to Kinga Szemik's parried save and tucked in the rebound.

West Ham were more positive after half time and Viviane Asseyi was first to meet Cayman's flick with a close-range header.

Cain notched her second of the afternoon with a dinked finish over Szemik before West Ham hit back again through Asseyi's long-range free-kick.

Leicester then pulled two goals ahead again as Sam Tierney's deft lob from range sailed over Szemik and into the net.
