A Chelsea player has reportedly rejected a move to Atletico Madrid but the report states ‘all options are open’ still in this one.

The Blues are expected to be busy now this summer, and we have had plenty of updates floating around this week already.

And there has also been a lot of noise regarding Jadon Sancho and whether Chelsea will actually be signing him from Manchester United permanently in the summer or not. The Athletic are reporting that there is a £5m break clause fee that Chelsea can pay to send him back and terminate the loan obligation to buy.

If Chelsea do not get Champions League football this season though, we will be hearing more and more rumours around some of their bigger name players getting restless and potentially looking to leave.

According to Spanish reporter Eduardo Burgos yesterday, Enzo Fernández has rejected Atlético Madrid. Several players tried to convince him to join the club during this break, but he is determined to stay at Chelsea. He likes London, but all options are open. But for now, Atletico isn’t one of them.

Chelsea fans will not like the last bit of that but at least he also says Fernandez is ‘determined’ to stay at Chelsea too.
