Chelsea transfer target Mathys Tel gave a three word response when asked if he’d played his final game for Bayern Munich on Wednesday evening.
Tel was handed a surprise start against Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League 24 hours after informing the German giants he wanted to leave the club.
The 19-year-old is attracting interest from clubs all over Europe as he weighs up what the best destination is for the next step in his career.
Chelsea are looking to add an attacker to their squad before Monday’s deadline day and have identified Tel as a player they like.
The Frenchman is said to be one of five targets on the club’s shortlist, and the Blues are believed to have been in contact with Tel since the beginning of the January.
Chelsea face fierce competition for Tel, with multiple clubs from the Premier League interested including the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham.

Initial reports had suggested Tel had ruled out a move to Chelsea because he doesn’t see Stamford Bridge as the ideal place for his development.
Everything suggests he will leave the German giants before Monday’s deadline day, but the player himself gave very little away when asked about his future.
In response to being asked if he’d played his last game for Bayern the teenager told reporters:
“I don’t know.”
Chelsea do face an uphill battle to convince Tel the club are the right place for the next stage of his career, but the Blues clearly like his profile given he’s versatile and can play both off the left and through the middle.

At this stage it appears Chelsea still need to offload one of Joao Felix or Christopher Nkunku to make space in the squad for the potential arrival of Tel.
Nkunku is attracting interest from Bayern, whilst Aston Villa are interested in Felix, and it seems the Tel Saga will go right up to deadline day.
