Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espírito Santo has admitted that his side will be without the services of talisman striker Chris Wood in midweek.
The New Zealander is struggling with a hip issue and although he has been making strides in his bid for fitness, there is no date on paper for a potential comeback.
"He's improving. He's getting better day-by-day. We have to assess each day because it's about getting him pain free first of all and then back to fitness," he said.
"He has a big contusion he has so it's very painful."
Wood isn't the only injury concern ahead of Forest's meeting with Manchester United at the City Ground, although the man in charge is hopeful that they will gain an extra spring in their step by booking their FA Cup semi-final berth.
"We had a very demanding game which went to extra-time so we have to assess everyone. We're recovering well but we have many concerns with players," the former Wolves boss continued.
"Hopefully the joy and happiness of coming through and looking forward to playing at Wembley will give us something extra tomorrow."
The Tricky Trees currently sit third in the table with a five-point cushion over Chelsea.
