Since leaving AC Milan, Milos Kerkez has been on a constant upward trajectory. Given how sought-after he is, the club might just feel a bit of regret.

The Rossoneri had and still have one of the best left backs in the world in their team in Theo Hernandez, but the management surely cannot avoid thinking about how they had Kerkez in their grasp. He is the best U21 left-back for assists, crosses, key passes and tackles.

Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool are being credited with interest in the Hungarian and Bournemouth want £50 (around €60m) to sell, which is 22x more than the amount Milan received when they sold him to AZ Alkmaar in 2022.

While the Diavolo continue to search for a reliable deputy to Theo they may ponder whether Kerkez could have had more senior minutes earlier to keep him happy. The defender admitted that his father pushed him to leave though, while he also stated that he thought he deserved a shot.
