Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo has this week sent a message the way of the club’s supporters, regarding Kylian Mbappé.

Frontman Mbappé has of course taken his place front and centre in the chatter in Spain’s capital over recent weeks.

This comes with the Frenchman having recovered from a shaky opening to the campaign to conjure up a series of explosive performances.

Looking back to his brilliant best, the Real Madrid faithful have in turn been afforded a first glimpse at ‘the real Mbappé’ in the club’s colours.

And one individual adamant that Los Blancos’ fanbase must continue to throw their full support behind the club’s summer signing moving forward is Cristiano Ronaldo.

Speaking during an as of yet unreleased interview with El Chiringuito TV, Ronaldo was asked if he had a message for fans of his former club regarding Mbappé.

And the five-time Ballon d’Or winner went on to respond:

“Take care of Mbappé, I say to Real Madrid fans. Take care of this young man because he’s a very good player and Real Madrid must help protect him.”
