Samuel Dahl is living his best life in Benfica after hardly playing for Roma earlier in the season.

His move from Djurgadens did not prove successful as Dahl failed to make an impression in Italy.

Since his decision to join Benfica on loan, the young Swede has been able to find more consistent playing time, including an appearance against Barcelona in the Champions League.

Recently, Dahl gave an interview to fotbollskanalen.com in which he explained how he feels in the Portuguese capital.

“It’s nice to be at Benfica. I’ve done good things so far, the team is very good. Everyone is helping me. I went from not playing for Roma to facing Barcelona. It was an incredible match.”

On his future, he said: “We’ll see what happens in the summer” – given that he is at Benfica on loan and the option to buy is set at 10 million euros.
