Manchester City’s Under-18 Premier League National final with Aston Villa has been confirmed for Saturday 17 May.

Oliver Reiss’s side – who clinched the Northern title late last month - will travel to Villa Park to take on the newly-crowned Southern title winners for a 13:00 (UK) kick-off.

The prestigious clash will follow hard on the heels of last Monday’s FA Youth Cup final between Villa and City which saw the Midlands side secure a 3-1 victory.

In the league, City enjoyed a superb Northern campaign, putting together a remarkable 21-game winning run which saw us claim the regional crown for a fourth time in five seasons.

It was a much tighter affair in the Southern section which Villa sealing the trophy thanks to a 1-0 win over Leicester on Thursday night in their penultimate league match.

The City youngsters will be seeking to be crowned National champions for a fourth time, having last claimed the prestigious prize in the 2022/23 campaign.

For Villa meanwhile, this is the first time they have reached the National final.
