Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has urged his side not to get bogged down by disappointment as they try to reassert themselves in the Premier League title race.
A run of four games without a win in England's top flight has left the Gunners trailing current leaders Liverpool by nine points at the November international break.
The north London giants have been Manchester City's main rivals for the title in past few seasons and Raya has insisted his team have what it takes to drag themselves back into contention.
He told Mundo Depotivo: "We have shown last year and this season, although we have not started as we would have liked, especially the last two games due to the circumstances of the matches, with very difficult away games with one man less.
"We must not make excuses and we must move forward. We deserved more against Chelsea and Newcastle, but we will continue in the same vein, correcting errors and looking forward with a very good group that we can do anything. We will be in the fight to lift the Premier League."
Arsenal battled with Man City and Liverpool and were ahead in the title race as late as April earlier this year, but a loss to Aston Villa relinquished their hold on first place and they eventually finished as runners-up.
A lot of work is needed to get close to that position this season. The Gunners take on Nottingham Forest, West Ham United and Manchester United in their first three league matches after the November break, while they also need to get back on track in the Champions League after a 1-0 defeat to Inter. They face Sporting CP and Monaco before Christmas.
