More details are emerging on the Juventus bid for Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo, as it would be a loan with option to buy for a total €30m.
The Bianconeri are in need of at least one January reinforcement in defence, as Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal are both ruled out for six months by anterior cruciate ligament surgery.
The 25-year-old has emerged as one of the primary candidates, especially as he can also play as a right-back when needed.

According to Catalunya Radio, the details of the proposal are beginning to emerge, specifically a €5m fee to pay for the six-month loan.
There is also an option to buy at the end of the season for €20m plus another €5m in add-ons.
Italian journalist Gianni Balzarini also outlines that as part of the deal, Juventus would pay half of Araujo’s €8m net salary for the six months of the loan.
Arsenal are also linked with a potential approach for Araujo, although a new contract with Barcelona is not entirely out of the question either.
