Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has agreed on the terms of a new contract with the club.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who has on Monday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

Tactician Flick is for his part of course fresh off another evening to remember on Sunday.

After welcoming Real Madrid to Montjuïc for a top-of-the-table La Liga showdown, the Blaugrana conjured up another stellar ‘Remontada’, to ultimately triumph by four goals to three.

The result means that Barca are now all but assured of securing the title in Spain’s top-flight, rounding out a domestic treble.

And such a fine debut season on the part of the club’s headmaster has not gone at all unappreciated on the part of the Camp Nou brass.

This comes amid confirmation that Flick will imminently be rewarded with a new contract.

As per Fabrizio Romano:

‘Hansi Flick has agreed on every detail of new deal at Barcelona valid until June 2027. It’s all done and set to be sealed this month with formal signature, but already approved with contract drafts. Official soon. One more year for Flick at Barça.’
