The Argentinean was one step away from leaving the club to join Al-Qadsiah in the summer but eventually decided to turn down the Saudi side’s multi-millionaire offer.

However, with the Giallorossi reportedly on the verge of hiring their third manager of the season, it looks like Dybala is far from being the team’s added value the fans hoped he could be after deciding to stay at Roma.

The former Juventus forward had a particularly close relationship with former coach Daniele De Rossi, however, his substitute Ivan Juric claimed that one of his goals was to get the 30-year-old back in shape after being hired in September, as he admitted Dybala is ‘marvellous’ when he plays.

But after scoring on Juric’s debut on the bench, the Argentina international could do little to improve his team’s performances and even his recent winner against Torino was followed by moments of tension with his coach, who could soon be replaced due to the Giallorossi’s poor results.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Dybala wasn’t happy with Juric’s decision not to bring him on during their latest Europa League fixture in Belgium and was then left stunned to know he was excluded from Roma’s squad list for their Bologna clash.

Juric announced that his forward was injured during a pre-match press conference on Saturday, a move that irritated the player, who wasn’t given the chance to prove his fitness in a training session later on the same day as he hoped to be available for the match.

Dybala scored two goals from nine Serie A games this term, while he’s still to make a goal contribution in the Europa League, where he racked up three appearances.
