Barcelona secured a 2-0 victory over Espanyol on Thursday to confirm themselves as La Liga champions for the 28th time – it also completed a domestic treble. Here’s how Hansi Flick’s side fared at the RCDE Stadium.
His best match in a while. He made a big save to deny Javi Puado in the first half, and throughout, he was confident in coming for balls with his feet and hands/body.
Another dependable performance from Eric, who continued to show himself as a good right-back option for Barcelona.
Not the best evening for Araujo, who struggled to deal with Espanyol’s attacks at times. He was taken off early in the second half due to a knee issue.
Excellent performance from Christensen on only his second start of the season. He was very solid in defence, and was very sharp despite his lack of action.
Okay performance from the young defender, who was taken off at half time to allow Alejandro Balde to come on.
De Jong continues to put in strong performances, as he marshalled the Barcelona midfield alongside Pedri.
Pedri continues his world-class form with another impressive showing. He was everywhere for Barcelona, and as usual, he made things look very easy.
What more can be said about Lamine Yamal? Frustrating first half, but once again, he makes the difference. He scored a wonderful goal to break the deadlock, before setting up Fermin Lopez for the second.

Again, a relatively quiet performance from Olmo, who has struggled to find his best form in recent weeks. He provided the assist for Lamine Yamal’s opener.
A rare off-night for Raphinha, who could not make the same impact as his fellow winger.
Disappointing performance from Lewandowski, who looked rusty – which is understandable considering it was his first start in a few weeks.
Injected life into Barcelona when he came on.
Came on to help Barcelona break down Espanyol, and he was successful in this objective. Solid in defence too.
He would not be denied on this occasion. After his goal against Real Madrid was chalked off, he bounced back emphatically by scoring Barcelona’s second in this match in stoppage time.
Competed, as he always does. He was involved in a scuffle with Pere Milla after the full time whistle.
Had little to do when he came on.
