Inter Milan midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan “cut through Feyenoord” in yesterday evening’s Champions League clash.
As TuttoMercatoWeb highlight, the 36-year-old received praise for his incisive midfield display in the player ratings for the match.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan started for Inter Milan in yesterday’s Champions League round of sixteen second leg against Feyenoord.
The Armenian remained a fixture in the Nerazzurri starting eleven. As he so often has been since he arrived from Roma in the summer of 2022.
Mkhitayan has been on the receiving end of some criticism for some of his recent performances.
The Armenian is 36 years old. And there is no getting around the fact that time is starting to catch up with him.

Therefore, there was a worry that a match against a young and aggressive Feyenoord team would be exactly the kind of match in which Mkhitaryan might suffer in the midfield battle.
But it proved to be the opposite.
Mkhitaryan looked sharp both mentally and physically.
On numerous occasions, the former Arsenal and Roma midfielder was the player who got to the ball first.
And once he had the ball, Mkhitaryan always seemed to drive forward and “cut through” the Feyenoord midfield.
