Work ahead of the summer mercato is already taking place, and AC Milan have sent scouts to watch a player in the Bundesliga who is heavily impressing.

In recent years, Milan have typically stuck to a strict budget in the mercato, but it seems like they may push the boat out a little this summer, as they step into a new era. Already, there have been suggestions that the club are considering a move for Eberechi Eze, and a new high-value player has been put forward this afternoon.

According to Christian Falk for The Daily Briefing, the Rossoneri have been watching Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Hugo Larsson, who is drawing the attention of some of Europe’s biggest clubs, with Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and Real Madrid all sending scouts so far.

Manchester City have gone a step further, already submitting their interest to his entourage, but there have not been any offers from any parties yet.

If an offer is to arrive, it seems that they must be in excess of €50 million to be considered by the German club, but even then this will not guarantee a move, with Markus Krösche, who has been sought by the Diavolo for their new sporting director position, attempting to keep him at the club for another year.
