Felipe Anderson Admits: ”Never Thought I’d Leave Lazio”

Former Lazio winger Felipe Anderson was expecting to end his playing career in the Italian capital, at least before the opportunity to return home presented itself.

The 31-year-old had two spells with the Biancocelesti, the first as a young and aspiring winger which dates all the way back to 2013. Anderson’s first spell at Lazio ended in 2018, when he made the big-money switch to West Ham United. But aside from a few flashes of brilliance, his time in East London never truly peaked.
