Daniel Maldini is attracting interest from a number of top clubs around Serie A, and AC Milan can be added to the list.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, several Italian sides are watching Maldini’s evolution with great interest. Atalanta, Inter, Milan, Juventus and also Fiorentina are the ones names, and his recent call-ups to Luciano Spalletti’s national team demonstrate the growth of the forward.
With Monza he has found stability and continuity in terms of opportunities. The intuition of the CEO Adriano Galliani is worth highlighting, because last January he got him on a six-month loan from Milan and he was able to make it permanent.
Not only that, but he bought him ‘practically for zero euros’ from Milan in the summer, but the Rossoneri have a 50% resale clause in their favour. There are two release clauses in Maldini’s current deal: one worth €12m for Italian clubs and the other €15m for teams abroad.
However, they are not valid for the winter transfer window, only for the summer one, and more precisely only for the month of July. If an offer arrives between 1st and 31st July 2025 that matches the clause, the ball will then pass to the player who will reserve the right to accept the move or not.

Looking at the teams interested, Atalanta have publicly declared their interest but they seem to have plenty of forwards in their team at the moment. Inter are carefully monitoring things, and seeing the Maldini name appear on the Nerazzurri shirt would cause a stir.
Juventus are fascinated by the possibility of inserting a talented Italian player into the squad, then Fiorentina – coached by Raffaele Palladino, who was at Monza last season – are keeping tabs on things too.
In all of this, it must be mentioned that Milan’s 50% clause effectively means they would be able to get him for half the price of other clubs. Thus, the management will be evaluating the opportunity to bring him back to his boyhood club.
