Hansi Flick unlikely to take any risk with Spanish international against Inter; youth player to start

Hansi Flick opted for heavy rotation when he lined up his Barcelona side against the relegated Real Valladolid this past weekend.
The risky move paid off as the Catalans as they secured a narrow 2-1 victory, thereby maintaining a four-point lead heading into the all-important Clasico this coming weekend.
However, with an Inter Milan game scheduled tonight, Flick will have to be judicious with his team selection as he looks to keep his troops fresh.
Flick has one or two doubts heading into the Inter Milan clash, one of which is the availability of Alejandro Balde.
The Spaniard has been absent since picking up an injury against Leganes. But he is slowly recovering and could soon make his return to the pitch.

However, according to Diario SPORT, Balde won’t start against Inter Milan tonight as he failed to take part in group training on Sunday.
It appears the Spanish international is not fully fit just yet and there’s a risk of him potentially aggravating his injury.
Flick, therefore, will not take any risks with Balde and will continue with Gerard Martin in the left-back position.
Martin is yet to have the same level of impact as someone like Pau Cubarsi. But he could be a useful option nonetheless, especially if Barça are looking for someone to provide width out wide.
As for Balde, he is likely to be fit for Barcelona’s next league game against Real Madrid, which in turn, could be a major boost for Flick.
