Hemp tops WSL assist charts | OneFootball

Congratulations to Lauren Hemp, who has finished top of the Barclays Women’s Super League assists charts for 2024/25.

The winger registered eight in total for the campaign, more than any other player in the WSL this season, and one more than City team-mate Mary Fowler.

She raced to the top of the assist charts in the early part of the season, picking up six in her first eight appearances.

Hemp's season was brought to a halt in November due to a knee injury, but she returned at the end of April to help City beat Leicester 1-0 at the King Power Stadium.

She grabbed another assist in that game, before once again adding to her overall tally when setting up Laia Aleixandri in our 2-2 draw with Manchester United the following week.

And her eighth and final assist of the season followed on the final day against Crystal Palace, with the England international's corner finding Rebecca Knaak.

Before kick-off in the final game of the campaign against the Eagles, Hemp had already created 29 chances in total at an average of 3.94 per game.

This is the second WSL season in a row where she’s finished top of the assist charts.
