Recent form

Bodo have not played since their 3-1 loss to Spurs in the first leg of this tie but in their three fixtures before that, they scored 10 goals, including a 5-1 away win against Junkeren in the Norweigan cup.

Tottenham’s league form has continued to disappoint. They drew 1-1 at the weekend against 17th placed West Ham and their last win in the Premier League was over a month ago when they beat Southampton 3-1.

What has been said?

Bodo/Glimt head coach Kjetil Knutsen insists that his side still have a chance in the tie despite being two goals down.

“It is a historic match definitely and we want to have the main role but of course it’s Glimt against Tottenham.

“That’s the packaging and they have two goals on us and we hope that we can perform better, be more Bodo/Glimt and we’re not favourites but we see possibilities here. And so that’s a good starting point for performing well.”

“I think whenever you play away from home in Europe, it is always challenging. It is always tough because obviously the opposition have the normality of the conditions and the stadium and the crowd behind them.

“All those kind of things make it difficult. It is no different here. I think the fact it is a semi-final and such a big game, irrespective it is always going to be a bit tight and tense throughout the whole game.”
