Reports in Italy claim that Inter defender Benjamin Pavard will miss Wednesday’s Champions League semifinal against Barcelona, but the Nerazzurri hope Marcus Thuram will return to training tomorrow.
Inter received more bad news on Monday, one day after a 1-0 loss against Roma in Serie A, their third defeat in a row across all competitions.

Gazzetta dello Sport and Sky Sport Italia claim that French defender Pavard will miss the first leg of the Champions League semifinal against Barcelona on Wednesday due to an ankle injury he sustained during the Roma game on Sunday.
According to Gazzetta, Yann Bisseck is the designated replacement for Pavard in Barcelona.
Inter, however, hope Thuram will resume group training on Tuesday, on the eve of the first leg semifinal in Spain.
Thuram has missed the last three games due to a muscle injury and has been training separately since then.
However, he showed promising improvements during today’s training session, especially regarding intensity, so Simone Inzaghi hopes to welcome him to group training on Tuesday.
