Inter Milan have initiated contact with Real Madrid to explore the possibility of signing Arda Guler, claims a report from Italian publication Corriere dello Sport.
According to the outlet, the Turkish midfielder’s current situation in Spain has not gone unnoticed, as his limited game time under Carlo Ancelotti has raised concerns beyond La Liga.
Despite joining Real Madrid with high expectations, Guler has struggled to find a place in the team’s regular rotation. His appearances have been few and far between, and as the season progresses, his role has only diminished further.
With no real signs of increased playing time in the near future, the young midfielder is said to be considering his options.
He does not want to go through another season on the sidelines and is looking for a club where he can feature more consistently.
Inter Milan, aware of Guler’s frustrations, have made an effort to understand his current standing at Real Madrid. However, they are also keeping tabs on another talented youngster—Nico Paz.

The Argentine midfielder is a player of interest for the Italian club, as Real Madrid hold an option on him.
Inter see potential in Nico, believing he could evolve into a dynamic mezzala—a box-to-box midfielder who can contribute both defensively and in attack.
At the same time, Guler’s playing style aligns with Inter’s objectives. The club’s management, along with head coach Simone Inzaghi, are eager to add more creativity and flair in their attacking setup.
While Nico remains their priority, Guler could also be a viable option if the right conditions emerge.
For now, it remains uncertain whether Inter will push for Guler’s signing, as they assess their options carefully.
The situation could develop into a strategic battle between Nico and Guler, depending on Real Madrid’s stance and the opportunities available for both players.
