Italian referee Maurizio Mariani will officiate the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals between Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.
Serie A referee Mariani will take on his second consecutive Champions League game on Tuesday, when La Liga giants Barcelona visit Borussia Dortmund in the second leg quarter-finals next week.
Mariani already officiated PSG’s 3-1 win over Aston Villa in Paris last week.
Barcelona are on the same side of the bracket as Inter and have practically booked a place in the Champions League semis after beating Borussia Dortmund 4-0 in the first leg last week.

On the other hand, Inter beat Bayern Munich 2-1 and will meet the winner of Barcelona-Borussia Dortmund if they avoid defeat at San Siro this coming Wednesday, on April 16.
Another Serie A official, Marco Di Bello will be the VAR referee in Borussia Dortmund-Barcelona on April 15.
Daniele Bindoni and Alberto Tegoni will be Mariani’s assistants, Simone Sozza will serve as the fourth official, and Daniele Doveri will be the assistant video assistant referee.
Mariani, 43, has officiated 16 Serie A games this season, plus six in the Champions League and three in Serie B.
Mariani has already officiated one Borussia Dortmund game, a 4-1 away win over Sevilla in the 2022 Champions League group phase, but has never refereed a Barcelona match.
