Bologna coach Vincenzo Italian is ‘happy’ with the ‘spectacular’ bond forming between the team and the fans: ‘We feared Lazio…’

The Rossoblu climbed to the fourth spot on Sunday thanks to a stunning 5-0 home win over Lazio.

“I’m happy with the bond that is forming between us and the fans. Every day, arriving at the stadium is spectacular: the Rossoblù supporters back us from the first to the last minute,” Italian told DAZN via TMW.

“The players feel the responsibility, and I want to sincerely thank the fans with all my heart.

“Today, we start a tough run of matches. Our approach against Lazio was the result of a week of hard work carried out with maximum commitment and focus.

“We feared Lazio for what they had shown so far: as soon as we gave them space, they were ready to take advantage—first Marusic, then Zaccagni.

“When talking about a team, we shouldn’t only mention the eleven starters,” Italiano continued.

“The team is built in training, where everyone contributes. Sixteen players took the field today, but every goal was celebrated by all. This is a united group.”
