Manchester United faced a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Crystal Palace in the Premier League. Their next game is against Leicester City in the 4th round of the FA Cup. Hence, they will look to put everything on the line to advance in the competition.
The Red Devils are not in the best of their form recently but they do have the resources to extract a positive result out of the fixture. This game will also set the momentum for Ruben Amorim’s men for their upcoming schedule with Tottenham Hotspur.
Defence
Altay Bayindir is likely to return between the sticks for this game, replacing Andre Onana in the lineup. Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro are continuing the three-man backline and Matthijs de Ligt is likely to come at the cost of injured Lisandro Martinez.
Ruben Amorim might hand over a debut to Patrick Dorgu in this fixture. He should replace Noussair Mazraoui to be the wing-back alongside Diogo Dalot.

Midfield
While Manuel Ugarte is an automatic pick in the lineup, Bruno Fernandes is being used in a deeper role. Don’t expect the strategy to change anytime soon.
Kobbie Mainoo is definitely not featuring as the number nine but more as an attacking midfielder alongside Amad Diallo, who can be a difference-maker in this fixture.
Joshua Zirkzee is likely to be called up to play as the striker, leaving no place for Alejandro Garnacho in the XI.
Lisandro Martinez (knee), Luke Shaw (undisc., doubt), Mason Mount (thigh), and Jonny Evans (muscle) are all unavailable.
