Journalist insists Man Utd already have a keeper better than Onana & Bayindir: “Play him until the end of the season”

Manchester have been sensationally told to drop Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir in favor of 19-year-old Elyh Harisson.
The goalkeeper role has been a plaguing issue for the club since David De Gea’s departure in 2023, as his replacement, Onana, failed to justify his £47 million price.
The Cameroonian was considered amongst the elite following his fabulous campaign at Inter Milan, but he’s been on a downward spiral since his arrival at Old Trafford.
The 29-year-old was involved in a back-and-forth spat with former United midfielder Nemanja Matic ahead of the first leg of the Europa League clash against Lyon. The Serbian veteran labelled Onana as one of the worst goalkeepers in United’s history, and the latter’s horrific display on Thursday consolidated this unsavoury description.
Therefore, Ruben Amorim decided to shake things up by dropping Onana and replacing him with his understudy, Bayindir, in Sunday’s Premier League contest against Newcastle. However, that manoeuvre paid little dividends, with the Red Devils suffering an agonising 1-4 defeat at St. James Park.
The Turkish custodian was arguably faultless on the first three goals, but ended up gifting Newcastle the fourth by attempting a cheeky pass.

Hence, the management will certainly be looking to address this major issue in the summer. They have already been linked with several profiles, including Burnley’s James Trafford.
But in the meantime, Sully believes neither Onana nor Bayindir should take the field, suggesting an alternative solution.
The journalist insists that Man United’s U21 goalkeeper, Elyh Harrison, is already better than both the Cameroonian and the Turkish shot-stoppers, while posting a video of a sensational save he produced against Reading U21 to support his claim.
The 19-year-old joined the Red Devils from Stevenage in the summer of 2022. He spent the first half of the current campaign on loan at Chester before returning to Carrington in January.
The teenager has thus far made 26 appearances in all competitions this season, conceding 27 goals in the process while registering nine clean sheets.
