Serie A heavyweights Juventus have reportedly rekindled their interest in highly-rated Lille winger Edon Zhegrova ahead of the summer transfer window. According to Tuttojuve, the Kosovo international’s name is back in fashion after this hypothesis faded at the tail-end of last summer.

Zhegrova had been on the club’s radar in the build-up to the 2024/25 campaign. Despite putting in a solid effort to lure him away from the Stade Pierre-Mauroy, Juventus couldn’t get Lille to sanction the deal, resulting in the Bianconeri pursuing alternate options to strengthen wide positions.

Indeed, Nico Gonzalez ended up joining Juventus from Fiorentina after Lille turned down the Italian giants’ advances for the 26-year-old. It had proved a top-notch decision, considering Zhegrova enjoyed a sublime start to the season, establishing himself as Les Dogues’ standout performer alongside Jonathan David.

However, a long-term injury sustained toward the end of the calendar year has sidelined Zhegrova for months. He has yet to return to action, but Juventus are seemingly ready to launch a new attempt to bring him to the Allianz Stadium in the coming months.

Meanwhile, Lille could green-light the move this time around, with Zhegrova’s current contract running out in 2026. After failing to convince the former Basel star to sign a new deal, Bruno Genesio’s charges are open to selling their prized asset this summer, with Juventus ready to pounce on this opportunity.
