Arkadiusz Milik has suffered a new injury setback and risks finishing the 2024-25 campaign with zero appearances for Juventus.
Poland international Milik has suffered a new injury and may not return to action this season.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the 31-year-old has sustained a muscle injury during his recovery in Poland.
Milik hasn’t made a single appearance for Juventus this season. He underwent meniscus surgery in June 2024 and an arthroscopic suturing of the medial meniscal residue of his left knee the following October.
Gazzetta reports that Milik’s new injury is unrelated to his previous meniscus problems. Nevertheless, the latest physical issue has ‘reset’ all the developments towards his return to action.
Milik joined Juventus from Marseille in the summer of 2022. He has scored 17 goals in 75 appearances across all competitions with the Bianconeri.
A former Napoli striker, Milik has netted 49 goals in 152 Serie A matches.
His contract at the Allianz Stadium runs out in June 2026.
