Manchester City clashed heads with Nottingham Forest at Wembley Stadium earlier today as they looked to earn a win and book a place in the final of the FA Cup. Pep Guardiola’s men made a dream start to the game as they scored the opener in the second minute when Rico Lewis got his name on the scoresheet. The Mancunian club went into the half-time interval 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Josko Gvardiol doubled Man City’s advantage in the 51st minute. The Mancunian giants defended their two-goal advantage well and ended up securing a solid 2-0 win at Wembley.

LB: Nico O’Reilly – 7/10
He kept a good shape defensively and was a threat in the final third.
CM: Mateo Kovacic – 8/10
Kovacic made a few driving runs with the ball and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
CM: Rico Lewis – 7.5/10
He made one key chance in the final third and gave Man City the lead in the second minute.
RW: Savio – 7/10
Savio engineered some meaningful openings for his teammates up top but there was no goal for him.
CAM: Bernardo Silva – 6.5/10
He came back to defend when he could but lacked quality in the Nottingham half.
LW: Jack Grealish – 6.5/10
Grealish made two inviting chances from the left flank but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.
