Here's all the latest Liverpool transfer news for you to catch up on.
Virgil van Dijk, like Trent, is out of contract in 2025 and has so far not agreed a new deal at Anfield. He’s been associated with a free transfer to Saudi Arabia but Fichajes suggests Real Madrid could make a bid in January.
It’s unlikely that Liverpool would face a sale of their captain before the end of his contract especially with the Reds fighting on four fronts and Van Dijk establishing a superstar defensive partnership with Ibrahima Konate.
Other options listed by the Spanish outlet are Jonathan Tah of Bayer Leverkusen, Vitor Reis of Palmeiras and Castello Lukeba of RB Leipzig.

Mo Salah is in unbelievable, almost unstoppable form.
In the Premier League, he leads the way for goal involvements this term with 14 having scored eight times and assisted six goals in his opening 11 appearances.
He’s also chipped in with one goal and four assists in the Champions League this term to take his haul to 19 goal involvements across 15 appearances in those two competitions.
Not bad for a one-season wonder, ey?
It makes the current situation even more galling.

Liverpool appear to be making moves that would end the Anfield career of Andy Robertson. The Scot's position is under threat.
Andy Robertson's form has been the subject of much debate this season. It reached the point where Kostas Tsimikas seems to have usurped him as the no.1 choice.
It looked that way at the start of the month, certainly, and the Greek left-back starting vs Bayer Leverkusen really hammered it home. Tsimikas has had to wait a long time for that one.

Speaking on the most recent episode of his podcast, Fozcast, former Premier League goalkeeper Ben Foster made a damning indictment about Liverpool.
He said: "If Liverpool lose Trent, Virgil and Mo Salah, or even if they lose two of them, then that can set Liverpool back five years.
"You can't replace the best player in the world just like that and you can't replace the best Premier League centre-back for the last five to six years."
