The Serie A title race proved to be its chaotic best today, as both Napoli and Inter were involved in games that were going to decide the season.

Napoli took on Parma away from home and Inter took on Lazio at home, knowing that they were only one point behind the Partenopei. The start to both games was slow but it picked up later, as Inter went 1-0 up thanks to a Yann Bisseck goal in stoppage time of the first half.

As Napoli stayed level, Lazio didn’t back down from their European spot. Pedro drew level and the goal was given after a lengthy VAR check. Inter responded with a well-taken Denzel Dumfires goal from a set-piece. Minutes before stoppage time came upon in either games, Lazio got a controversial penalty as Taty Castellanos’ attempt to go past Bisseck saw the ball hit the German’s arm even though it seemed in a natural position.

Pedro stepped up and grabbed a brace. What made things more interesting was the fact that Napoli were initially given a penatly in the 95th minute of their game. Scoring it could have won them the Scudetto, but Giovanni Simeone committed a foul in build-up and it was chalked off.

Inter face Como in the last game of the season and Napoli take on Cagliari.
