Whilst Luis Enrique recently extended his stay at Paris Saint-Germain, the future of his colleague, Luís Campos, remain uncertain. The sporting director’s deal at the Parc des Princes expires at the end of the season

Luis Enrique’s extension until 2027 was officialised in February. There had been hope that the announcement of his renewal could be made at the same time as that of Campos. However, an agreement has yet to be reached with Campos, whose future at PSG remains in the balance.

Talks between the Portuguese sporting director and the runaway Ligue 1 leaders are ongoing but without any guarantee that they will lead to an agreement. Luis Enrique has made his thoughts on the matter clear. “Without a doubt, I want him to extend,” began Luis Enrique in a press conference, attended by Get French Football News. after PSG’s victory over Olympique de Marseille in Le Classique on Sunday night.

He added, “I started this project with Luís Campos. He is the first person that I spoke with. I started with him and I would like to end with him. There can be no doubt about that.”
