Corentin Tolisso will miss Olympique Lyonnais’ visit to face AS Monaco on Saturday with a recurrence of the knee injury that he suffered against AS Saint-Étienne.

Tolisso’s absence is confirmed and it is a blow for Lyon, who are desperate for a win in order to keep their UEFA Champions League qualification hopes alive. The vice-captain may miss the rest of the season with the injury. However, there is good news in the form of the return of Alexandre Lacazette. The forward, who is almost certainly playing his final matches for his formative club, has returned from suspension and is expected to lead the line, meaning that Georges Mikautadze may start from the bench.

Ernest Nuamah, a long-term absence with an ACL injury, is the only other player that misses out against Monaco.
