Simon Collings reports for The Standard that Arsenal are confident Bukayo Saka will be fit for the matches against Atalanta and Manchester City this week, despite limping off against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Collings explains that Saka is believed to have been suffering with cramps, so the hope is that he should be able to make a full recovery before the next game.
Arsenal will train in front of the media on Wednesday morning, so we should get a concrete update then. If Saka isn’t involved, that would suggest the issue is more serious than first thought, but if he is involved, he’s probably fine.

Mikel Arteta had been cautious with his assessment of Saka’s injury after the game, saying: “I don’t know. I made two changes with the front players and suddenly he’s down. I don’t know exactly what it is but he could not continue.”
But the early signs suggest the Arsenal manager was just playing it safe, and Saka shouldn’t be a serious doubt for two more huge games coming up this week.

It wouldn’t be a surprise if Saka had a bit of cramp, given he’s already started six games for club and country in less than a month.
After playing just twice in pre-season, Saka has had to get up to speed extremely quickly. He’s done so excellently, scoring or assisting in all of Arsenal’s games so far this season.
That’s a record he’ll want to keep going away to Atalanta and Manchester City.
