Mallorca star hits out at Real Madrid TV: ‘I make them dance’ | OneFootball

Pablo Maffeo has quickly developed into a hated figure in the Spanish capital, and understandably so given his clear beef with Real Madrid players on the field.

The Mallorca star has, in fact, become famous as the one who stands up against Vinicius Jr and often picks up fights on the field – something that has become normal in Mallorca-Real Madrid games over the past four years.

Maffeo and Vinicius had their tussle once again earlier this season, and with the two teams set to face off in La Liga next month, one can expect more of the same.

Maffeo lashed out at Real Madrid TV

Speaking to the media earlier this week, the Mallorca star opened up on how he was targeted often by Real Madrid TV and how any small action he did on the field against Real Madrid was exaggerated and relayed.

“I fart and go out on Real Madrid TV, I have a personalized program there. I don’t care what they say, speaking badly, I sweat it. I make them dance whenever I want.”

Elaborating on his animosity towards Los Blancos and why he made it so visibly evident on the field, Maffeo surprisingly revealed that he did not hold any hatred against the club as such.

“I don’t consider myself anti-Madridist because it doesn’t affect me what Madrid does. In a final with Barça, I go with Barça, but against Arsenal, I don’t care. If they pass, congratulations.”

He then stated that while he did not have any beef with the institution, he did not like the players’ behaviour on the field and their sense of entitlement during games.

“I’m not anti-Madridista but I don’t like Madrid players, it’s not a secret. It’s not that I don’t like Madrid, I don’t like Madrid players because they are disrespectful according to the way I see it and the experiences I’ve had with them.”
