Manchester United are looking to offload their star Marcus Rashford during the current transfer window.

According to The Athletic, Borussia Dortmund have joined the transfer race to sign Rashford on loan this month. AC Milan and Juventus are also weighing up their options.

United manager Ruben Amorim has axed Rashford from four consecutive matchday squads.

Suspension to Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte forced him to name Rashford on the bench against Newcastle United.

Even with the Red Devils losing 2-0, Amorim did not bring on the England international.

The forward was not part of the squad against Liverpool due to illness.

‘Interest is building’ for Rashford to leave Old Trafford. His astronomical wages have been a big hindrance for the clubs to sign him.

Previously described as ‘unstoppable‘, the forward is currently earning £325,000 every week with his contract running until 2028.

United also want to part ways with him but may be forced to cover a large part of his wages if he joins another club on loan.

Galatasaray have also approached Rashford, but he wants to stay in one of Europe’s top leagues.

He is mindful of the World Cup next year and wants to be part of the England squad.

Dortmund and United reached a similar loan deal last season for out-of-favour winger Jadon Sancho.

The German outfit contributed the majority of his salary. The Red Devils will be looking to reach a similar loan agreement for Rashford.
